Okay – Just realized that the time frame I have in the near future, the ideal way for me to do my blog this year is to do it weekly. This way, I don’t have a really tiny blog post each time or each day I post a blog. 😉 That weekly blog post will begin on Sunday…the 4th of March.
Anyway, to today’s post: Goodness… I just went on a website to see how much a Galleon would convert into US dollars. Almost ten thousand…dollars to a thousand Galleons. I honestly have no clue what I would do with it. Most likely put 3/4 of it up in savings and the other 1/4…I haven’t the slightest clue what I would do with it. [chuckles] most likely buy a new broom so I could fly everywhere. [chuckles] Yup! What would you do?
The Brooms up for sale...
Finally home from my crazy week so I’m playing catch up once again. I’m not looking forward to the craziness that is to come with my blog and everything else. =/ Anyway, here goes:
Day 53: What form would your Patronus take?, Day 54: what pet would you have, and what would you name it?, Day 55: Free, Day 56: Least Favorite subject (Facebook only did fave, not least fave), Day 57: Which Weasley Wizarding Wheezes product would you most buy?, and Day 58: Memories of seeing it on film for the first time.
Day 53: What form would your Patronus take?
To be honest, I don’t know. Perhaps a dragon?
Day 54: What pet would you have, and what would you name it?
An owl definitely. I’d name it Onyx or Athena.
My owl 🙂
Day 55: Free
Found this on a website the other day I can’t remember what or where but I completely agree with the feelings as I read through the Harry Potter books for the first time. ;]
Day 56: Least Favorite subject
Hmm, probably either Herbology and Divination. Yup.
Day 57: Which Weasley Wizarding Wheezes product would you most buy?
Oh goodness. There’s so many products I would love to buy but I think I would get the Wildfire Whiz-bangs that were sic’ed on Umbridge that year. That was aweeeeesome! =D
Day 58: Memories of seeing it on film for the first time.
I was mesmerized by all of that magic, flying and everything that came to life from the books. Amazing although there are a couple of scenes that I’d like to be incorporated into the movies that was important in the books. 🙂 But a person can’t have everything it wants!
Like I mentioned before, the fact that I’m doing this blog from my phone still is true til Saturday I guess. Whew. Anyway, the blog days are:
Day 50: Free
Day 51: favorite wizarding treat (honeydukes stuff, butterbeer, pumpkin juice etc)
Day 52 (tues): Preferred magical transportation (portkey, floo, apparation, broom etc)
For Day 50 – I found a neat picture that goes with the deadly sins each house has.
Day 51: I haven’t had any wizarding treats before until yesterday I had a homemade butterbeer made by Jo and Ashley. It was good! Yum.
Day 52: favorite magical transportation.
It is still apparation but I’d like flying if I could handle the cold wind for so long. Floo doesn’t sound so bad unless you cough up dust when you arrive at your destination. Not a great idea for me since I’m severely allergic to dust… Yup.
Now I must close as I go out and celebrate my birthday! 25th in DC! [wish it was in London tho lol] Anyway, I bid you farewell until next time!
Hallo everyone! As I am away from my laptop for eight days starting today, lucky for technology advances. I can write a very brief blog post from my iPhone. :] so here goes for today’s post…
Any books I’d set on fire would be Gilderoy Lockhart’s books. No questions asked lol
The “Lovely” Lockhart…
Beater, Chaser, Keeper or Seeker. Hmm…
The Keeper guards the goal posts, while the three Chasers score goals with the Quaffle by tossing it into one of the opposing team’s three goal posts. The two Beaters keep the Bludgers away from their team and hit the Bludgers towards the opposing team, and the Seeker catches the Golden Snitch to end the game. The team whose Seeker catches the Snitch is awarded 150 points, but this does not necessarily mean they will win if the other team still has more points than the other team before the Snitch is caught.
I know this is the Gryffindor team but…I couldn’t find any other good photos with other teams! =]
The Beaters: Fred and George
The Chaser: Angela
The Keeper: Ron
The Seeker: Harry
Chaser… Um nope, bad aim towards the goal posts. :] Keeper, I’ve never been so well with keeping things out of this area haha Now I have Beater which plays on the strength to bat the bludger off our teammates and aim it to the opposing team. However, I LOVE to fly and I have very sharp eyes which fits Seeker the best. After weighing my options/choices, I think I’d do well with Beater and Seeker.
Forgive me for not posting yesterday. I planned to do it during the evening and…well, the movies distracted me from the task.
Hmm, this is a long post to write about… 500+ Spells, hexes, jinxes or curses as far as we know. Although there’s three curses that I can’t do: Avada Kedavra, Crucio and Imperio. There is a reason why it’s called The Unforgivable Curses. Avada Kedavra is the Killing Curse which has no counter-curse or blocking spell although it can be dodged and blocked with solid objects. Voldemort used this curse the most among other spells. He killed a lot of people and only one survived it twice, Harry Potter. Crazy! Anyway, Crucio is the Cruciatus Curse when the victim is slowly tortured by the caster. [Poor Longbottom’s parents] Imperio is the Imperius Curse where the victim performs the unquestioned bidding of the caster without any objections similar to a puppet and its puppet-master. That is what happened to Krum during the Triwizard Tournament in the last phase, the Maze to the cup.
This will take all day to do this post. I’ll put this on hold for a moment then work on it as I go. :] xx
[chuckles] All of those detentions served by Harry, Draco, Ron, Hermione, Neville and others…throughout the book. There’s one detention punishment I would rather opt out than go through it is the method Umbridge used. Ack! I don’t want a scar reminding me of what I had to write and omg it is going to HURT! So um…if I had to serve detention, the reason most likely would be sneaking out of my house during the night or having a heated discussion with a professor where I disagree. Yeah. Simple post today.
