OHMIGOD. No way. Seriously. It better not be or else I would be HEARTBROKEN [chuckles] since I can’t do magic. To be denied admission to the Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. Not to mention the beautiful Scotland landscape leading up to the school from London. I would be very heartbroken, indeed. I have dreamed for as long as I can remember that I have always wanted to do magic and had hope that I was a witch in a teeny-weeny way. To be honest, I would not be able to explain my reaction if the books were to be a true story. Although this probably would be the most accurate reaction of myself:
JFKDALFJ;DKA;LFJA ;DJFAKL;DJFAKJKAF;J WHYYYYYY?!?!?!? [cursing and bawling loudly]
Yes, yet I can’t find an accurate picture of this reaction… haha
However if the books were to be true and I possessed magic… I would be ecstatic, of course after receiving my letter to attend Hogwarts. =] I could try all of these spells I read in the books, learn different kinds of magical creatures, do divination (although that will be a tad boring), Charms, Flying classes (THAT WOULD BE SO MUCH FUN! Aside from screaming my head off when my feet are off the ground due to my fear of heights), Potions, Transfigurations and especially Defense Against Dark Arts (only if it was taught with Lupin’s teaching style). Yep yep… ooh Dueling club, Oh I can go on and on… [chuckles]
This is much more easier to picture here.
Me jumping up & down hehe
Until tomorrow! Toodles! xx
People of Harry Potter
On the left side from top to bottom: Harry, Hermione, Neville, Luna, Fred and George, Dumbledore, Hagrid, Molly and Remus.
On the right side from top to bottom: Voldemort, Ron, Ginny, Draco, Snape, McGonagall, Bellatrix, Arthur and Sirius.
This is the final day of this challenge for Facebook. Boo. However, I have the blog to upkeep for eleven more months! =] *yay* I uploaded three photos because I can’t just pinpoint a good photo to describe the effect he had on me. I grew up with Harry for a good half of my life (13 years) and it’s strange to know that it’s ‘over’. 😦 Over as I mean Potter’s story in the books, the Wizarding War, his battle with Voldemort, and the movies. I want more!!! [chuckles] It would be interesting to see how the children fare with each other. Will Rose befriend Scorpious or take after her father and despise him? Who knows? We do have our fan fiction, Pottermore (when it’s open to the public! I HOPE I get sorted in Slytherin or else, an identity crisis lol) and people who share our love for Harry Potter and magic.
A Professor at Hogwarts or A Diagon Alley Shop Owner
This is the very same path that I’m venturing right now kinda. I am undecided between being a teacher or involved with business administration and I have approximately six months to declare my major. Teaching – I love to teach people and the wonderful feeling I get when someone understands what I am trying to teach! I have tremendous patience and it proves to be a challenge because I don’t know what their learning style is right away. :] However, they do not offer the teaching subject I would like to take at Uni in August so…I’m not sure what I’m going to do just yet. Never had a teaching job. Business Administration – The longest job I’ve had was both in business: Title & Escrow and Idaho State Tax Commission. Both of them I left because one was for school reasons and the other was a temp job. This kind of job repeats itself a lot everyday and I get bored with a routine quite quickly.
Ok – for Hogwarts, it would be interesting to see what students are capable of and I would love to teach magical subjects. Of course, I would have to deal with children being stupid at times. [chuckles] Business owner in Diagon Alley…oooh yeah, I love meeting new people and it’s fascinating to people-watch. Buy things what they need or want whilst I conjure thoughts up on why they would need/want it. It’s quite interesting, people that is.
Harper Black and Hermione Granger
Once again, this is split in two questions – If I were to attend Hogwarts at the same age I was introduced to Harry (age 11), Hermione would give me a run for my money, literally, since she is the brightest witch of our age. ;] However, if I attended Hogwarts at my regular age (around 1998) right after Harry left Hogwarts, Black would be my nemesis or frenemy? :] Both of them are Gryffindors whilst I am Slytherin so we’d be enemies or frenemies (friends/enemies).
I know I have been posting a real short post at the end of day lately… Hmph. Perhaps I should post in the morning instead of evening? :] Night!
The Tale of The Three Brothers
If you have not read this story in the Deathly Hallows chapter, the Seventh book of the Saga or in the short book of the Tales of Beedle Bard. Please do so! :] It is a very touching story and some of them are pretty fun to read.
If the Elder Wand was presented to me to have in my possession, I would gather my thoughts: Is it worth having the wand that is undefeatable but yet susceptible being ultimately led to my death? My answer would be, No thanks. Then would the Resurrection Stone appeal to me? Sure, there are a couple of people I would bring back from their death but it would drive me insane to the point where I am very tempted to join them in the other side. Again, no thanks. Finally the Invisibility Cloak? Being invisible any time I desire to be, sneaking off for some late night munchies, when I wish not to be bothered or being able to see how other people would react or discuss without my presence? Sure. Let me have it! :]
Here is a photo of the ‘three brothers’ who had it in their possession for a short or a long time.
Voldemort died for power, Snape died for lost love and Harry greeted Death like an old friend
Stirring his drink in Leaky Cauldron
This picture show him stirring his tea in Leaky Cauldron so typically something that would move with a flick of my hand. :] For as long as I can remember, I have wished that I could move things by telekinesis or just a flick of my hand. What can I say? I am utterly fascinated with the world of magic. Although I know magic is not… [whispering] real… (sighs) Oh well. It would definitely be easier and I will appreciate the gift I was bestowed upon. :]
Ron, Hermione, Harry and Ginny. Nineteen years later...
As I have the Epilogue open in my lap ready to read through it…
[reading the sentences]
Yes, somewhat. Although, Lily in this photo is a blonde and in the book is a red-head, Weasley traits. They’re strong enough to be passed down. 🙂 It focused around the Golden Trio with their children with a glimpse of Draco Malfoy whose hair was receding somewhat with a wife (didn’t say who was the wife in the book but it has been rumored to be Astoria Greengrass) and a son who resembled his father, Scorpius. It was funny when James found out that Teddy Lupin (Remus and Tonks’ son) was snogging Victoire (the eldest child of Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour). Victoire was James’ cousin so he was grossed out by that. [chuckles] I’m not sure if it showed in the movie that Ginny scowled at him saying, “You interrupted them? You are so like Ron –” haha, Ron’s traits are bound to show up somewhere in the five children the Trio had. 🙂 Yes, Five children. James, Albus and Lily are Harry and Ginny’s offsprings whilst Rose and Hugo are Ron and Hermione’s. I was delighted that they showed the conversation between Albus and Harry about Albus’ fear about being sorted into Slytherin. 🙂 I would like to see a glimpse into the childrens’ lives at Hogwarts with Longbottom being the Herbology professor and whose would be Headmaster/Headmistress (I have a feeling it is McGonagall).
